As many of you may have seen over our social media and advertised on our website during 2020, we had the pleasure of hosting Haua Partnerships at Ripia Marae as they facilitated the whānau through the 100 year visionary Marae Development Plan – Rautaki Marae Tu Rangatira.
We are now finally able to launch the plan to the rest of the whānau nationally and worldwide for you all to look through and find ways you can contribute towards Oranga Marae – Marae Revitalisation.
Some of the common themes were the setting of Values, Achievements, Outcomes and what the life – oranga of the Marae looks like in the next 100 years.
Although some of us were focussed on basketball courts, a swimming pool and neat luxury items like WiFi connectivity, other visions for the plan were developed and aligned to the Marae’s Mana Tangata, Mana Whenua, Mana Oranga and Mana Motuhake principles.
