We collect your personal information in order to: connect, hono and update whanau and beneficiaries of Ripia Marae regarding Marae matters, gatherings and up and coming events.

We share this information with trustees and the working group committee members in order to provide news updates, communications or inform whanau, hapu and iwi of events circulating the marae.

Some information may be provided to the Iwi registration to crosscheck against the membership database or in the event that the registration database is accurate for those who may have passed.

If you choose not to enter any information, we’ll be unable to provide updates and keep whanau informed.

We keep your information safe by ensuring all information and data is encrypted and password protected and access to your information will be provided to only Marae Trustees and the Working Group Committee.

We keep your information for a maximum of seven years at which point we securely destroy it by deleting information securely or document destroyed methods such as shredding or burning the information where applicable.

You have the right to ask for a copy of any personal information we hold about you, and to ask for it to be corrected if you think it is wrong.
